10X Stella at Riverstone

I resided here 2019-2020 and to this day regret extending my lease. I no longer reside in Houston— but out of all properties I’ve lived at in 7 cities/towns and states I have lived in, this is one of my top choices! Still have some friends who still reside on property— it’s that great! From management, maintenance, amenities and overall property. I even made a little video to share with friends from the time I lived there.

The apartments themselves are really nice. The amenities are always broken for weeks or months. The pool wasn’t available for months in the summer. Their printer has been down for weeks. We had safety issues. We’ve had problems with our neighbor being loud in the middle of the night every day and communicated our frustration and absolutely nothing has been done.

Stella at Riverstone is conveniently located that is why I have lived at Stella at Riverstone for 4 leases each 15 months. My last lease ended November 30th, 2023 and since I was traveling for 2 weeks I decided to put my items in storage and sign another lease mid December. I tried to apply for new apartment by Stella’s online application portal, however portal is malfunctioning. I called and left several messages to the manager via Stella’s answering service and e-mail. I received no response until 5:30pm on December 20th via e-mail to come into office and fill out a paper application and bring $450 cashier check for application fee and deposit. I came the office on December 21st with Cashiers check, then the manager on duty said I can’t approve without proof of income. I bought her copies of my bank statements, child support documents and letter from my employer. That manager left the application in “pending mode” and went on vacation and indicated she will not return until after Christmas. The other manager is also on vacation. The woman in the office said there is nothing she can do because both managers are out. It is the week before Christmas and no one is willing to help. I have no where to go but to a hotel. I asked for my $450 and was told I had to pay $65 application fee and write a note that I am withdrawing my application. I am Professional with a Doctorate degree and a Law degree and I been employed for over 25 years. I have lived at Stella at Riverstone for 5 years and a lot has changed. I am not here to address every situation that is concerning but just my current situation. I gave the facility “two” stars because although it is a beautiful facility the human touch is lacking. There is currently a lack of communication, customer service, empathy for residents and for applicants.

Perfect size as far as apartment complex (not too big, not too small). Tends to be quiet. Have not had any noise disturbances. Apartments grounds are decently maintained. There is a dog wash station as well as a good size dog park. It is conveniently located near grocery stores, Eateries, small bars and kids activities as well as a wildlife trail.

Great Amenities and friendly tenants they have two dog 🐶 parks they even have a car wash in the complex to use for free and a place to wash your dogs the gym is nice n the pool 🏊🏽‍♀️ is so cute the apartments are very spacious and nice cool place to live until u find your forever home the only thing is they need to keep up with the cleaning of the complex buildings and keeping the pool cool in the hot summer time when its hot 🥵 out u wanna jump into a nice refreshing cool pool not a warm/ hot pool

If you're a resident here and you are receiving a perishable delivery in 100 degree heat, the leasing office will not accept the delivery, even if you ask them to because you won't be home for a few hours. Places that advertise themselves as luxury but refused to help facilitate deliveries in the post-lockdown era are a joke. Nothing luxurious about a leasing office that doesn't provide that particular luxury.
